Torch (Player and Decor) brightness
Torch is too dim in caves to be useful, especially since it replaces my weapon and I have to put it away to fight.

You move away from the torches just one or two foundation lengths and the light goes to darkness -

Kaneshiro Admin PinnedPlease note, this topic is only addressing the brightness and the light provided by torches.
There is a separate topic regarding view distance of torches.

TheGuyDNY MergedThe brightness of the standing and wall torches seems dim and doesn't light a decent area. It would be nice to have them brighter so that I don't have to use one on each wall just to have very little light.

Lord Mallin MergedAlso increase the LOD of the torches so that they can be seen from further away.

Patrick MergedThe torches AOE should be better, even having a house full of torches it'll still be pretty dark within the house.

nbunn63Personally I find it plenty bright, but would like a little more throw distance. Same with torches, fires, etc.

NeoZeusi find the one you use in hand ok but those you make for your base need better glow and also view distance kinda sad having plenty in your base at night and being at 2 dash away from your building or any torch you placed and see no light
