  Can you provide a bit more information here? Were you in the raid or out in the world? Were you paused for long? Did you Alt+Tab to other windows?
  
  If you could also confirm that there is no Gravestone? If you paused in a multiplayer game, the world does not stop.

  I'm playing with my dad and 2 times I've done left the game and all my skills and items get deleted, not going to lie its really getting on my nerves cause I'm spending hours leveling up just to redo it all.

  If not no worries, I would just need some more info to clarify the issue. Are you saying you died and you are trying to load a previous save from your backups but it keeps loading the same save?

  after any new updates i find that my latest save is only partially correct when loaded.
  mainly, i start again in the starter island with partial inventory, no powers and missing buildables

  I have played 63 hours in this game. I finished all 8 shrines, and had a full set of Ambrosia gear. I made a base modeled after the Parthenon, and was busy furnishing a lovely villa on the beach. Then, yesterday morning, my save file was gone. It's still on my hard drive, and in my Steam remote saved files. But the game won't access it. And if I start a new game, I can't save my new file at all. So basically, the only way I can play at all is to join somebody else's public game. I really enjoyed playing and hope you fix this problem.

  i had a solo game saved and, a coop game. now my solo game save is gone. i only have the coop game save being it was the last played. NOT COOL i was nearly finished with ALL the quests. i know "it's early access" but damn, the coop could have been erased instead or, none at all.

  playing with friends spent a couple days on it im hosting they get kicked out for no reason so i restart the server they couldnt get in so i restarted my pc and lost all my progress but my friends didnt , i started at the start with nothing and 1hp left and couldnt interact with the braziers to open the portal to second island now this world is gone..

  i save game during hard areas aand when i restart it takes me back to the bed anyway. or if i kill all troops and resume play after saving, all troops respawn
  what is the point of savintg if it doesn't work?

  DON'T MIND LOSING STUFF IF I DIE BUT NOT PREPARED TO LOSE WEEKS OF UPGRADES FOR NO REASON. WILL NOT CONTINUE PLAYING EVEN THO I LOVE THE GAME

  My world and character both reset forcing me to start from scratch after a lot of progress had been made, i have since started again but it is tedious to do all the missions again and rebuild my structures

  The Athena Temple quest was completed, and at the exit of the temple, fragments from the sisters' chests and the core of the golden bow disappeared from the inventory.

  For whatever reason, I'm not able to load an old game with my main character after creating a new game with a new character. I see the Continue option, but it sends me into the map with a character that I have made prior with no skills or equipment. there is no Load game location with old save files/characters.

  My skills levels have reset to zero after logging back into a saved game. I'v not played that long, but what I did level up like hunting, sneeking etc all disappeared. That's a game stopper. The 2nd bug is pelts/hides. I made the bracers first and now needing 5 pelts for the chest piece. I got the 5 and with that same 5 pieces I was able to make all the rest of my armor, and I still show 5 pelts in my inventory. I am really sad about the skill bug....since now I have to put the game aside. Great game though.

  I had my own server with my partner that I was leveling up my skills. Then she ask me to join her world that she wanted to make so i joined with my character my skills kept leveling. Then when I joined back to my server all my skills reset to 0.

  I have a character that I built, (when such update occurred.) now every time i use this character in any world i make every time i save and exit, it does not save the xp i have earned towards such skills. i have a couple of skills maxed at lvl 25 but when i reload / go to play again the skill level and xp is back to where i started last time. everything else in the world saves correctly e.g. player location, buildables and items, but my skills and levels gained are not saved. a little frustrating/ minor annoyance.
