  love this, especially if it included a variety of planter buildables; for example a planter pot (small), a planter box (medium), a garden plot (large), etc.

  I actually love this idea. It could create the need for new tools (scythe/sickle/shovel) which could also have other uses in the open world (digging for buried treasure maybe). Seeds could drop from harvested plants and be replanted in your own garden. Could also be used as food (corn, wheat) as an alternative to hunting.

  i have seen many great builds and some that very much suit the era, it would be amazing to be able to plants things to enhance the atmosphere. i want so much to plant a tone of Italian cypress's down a dirt road or even a good old stone road that will be there for hundreds of years to come leading to my mansion. Some olive trees for my orchard and even grape vines!

  I definitely support this idea. It just gives one more reason to go back to the base which currently is really only used for storage and crafting.
  
  Also helps give your base a feeling of identity since you'll probably be coming back to repeatedly for the crops

  This would be great if you could increase the farming plot yield or leave it like in ark and over time it will keep generating as long as it has the mats needed to keep it going (like water or fert), it would give a reason to burn up unused bones also.

  Agree. I’d love to see farming of resources such as cotton and flax. Perhaps seeds can be dropped when gathering or bought from the merchant.

  If we get farming, can you have fertilizer too to either increase grow rate or reproduce quantities. We could put plant materials such as flax and cotton in a new Utility called a Composter and the Composter would turn the plant material into compost over time. We can then use the compost as a fertilizer on the farm plots.
