Upgrading building pieces without dismantling
This is a mechanic in SoulMask (And potentially others). It’s very handy for base building. For example if I built my dream home out of thatch but want to upgrade it to wood/stone I can highlight the piece I want to replace and select which tier I want/have resources for and it would deconstruct and replace all at the same time.
Cuts down on deconstructing and manually trying to place back with a new piece.

jadedActually… huge win. This would be so much better since it would hopefully auto pull, cutting down on inventory management issues and cumbersome building steps. Would love to see!

Soda741Please do this honestly this is a must for me when playing these types of games, I refuse to play a game including this one now that doesn't have this mechanic I'm not going to spend hours of my time building an incredible base for it to not be able to upgrade without destroying everything I have build and organized it frustrates me. I spent so much time on a base in this game now im waiting to play gain only if this is fixed. Devs please do this.

TarzanThis would be great!! Especially since this mechanic is in many other surv/craft games, its almost expected. The current way of quickly dismantling a piece and replacing it before any object sitting on the building piece can dismantle is a bit tedious but not a deal breaker. Especially since I moved my base location about 3 times.

SparkyJenkinsI was here to suggest the same thing. 7 Days to Die does the same thing as well, allow you to pay the price of the new build piece to upgrade an existing one. Please, this will make upgrading bases so much less of a headache.
