  I bought the game in order to help the game development and the team. I've played it and the game is fantastic, it doesn't needa 1st person perspective. But, in the end of the day, I am a 1st person games player. I miss being able to look to the spear in my hand, to look to the skyes and feel the eyes of Zeus on me. 1st person is immersion. Mods have done it beautifully in Valheim, maybe we can see the modders doing it on the future for DoD, who knows. Anyway, thanks for the devs who are awesome and beautiful. Bye bye.

  Unfortunately, this feature would be a massive undertaking, for our studio size, at this time. We still have a lot of core features to add to the game and since we needed a third person view for multiplayer, this is where we had to start. Leaving this feature as 'Proposed' until we are further along in development.

  I like the fact that when you down an animal they do not have a marker or a glow around them. But in order for this to be immersive we meed 1st person view. I dont like my screen glowing with POI locations and resource markers. I like how it works in this game. 1st person would enrich that experience by being able to find the animal or item with a better view.

  I upvoted this but honestly I dont mind either way to have first person or 3rd, but I would like photo mode for taking screenshots!
