Dedicated Server
The game needs private or hosted servers asap so that it can also reach larger communities. Of course, the game capacity must be lifted or greatly expanded. In addition, the co-op function should be removed and separate progression should also be possible. As well as permissions for doors, chests etc., of course. If not, there will be a similar problem to Enshrouded, for example.

This is such an important feature! It's one of the reasons Valheim and Enshrouded got so popular so quickly. Being able to host servers without the host having to be there is such a great feature. It makes it so much easier to play together, as you don't have to worry about coordinating everyone being online at the same time :) -

Peter KellyThis is a must in my opinion. I'm always a little surprised that this not a standard for this type of game, removing the P2P nature means you can have more players sharing the game at once. I don't know about the devs, but I routinely play with 5-8 of my closest friends, so a game with 4 player max very rarely gets bought, and even more rarely played.

NO WAY AM I GIVING MY NAME WHEN IT IS PUBLIC MergedWith 4 people allowed on a Server, They should be able to be on it at any time, not just when the host is playing. This is really killing the ability to have friends join and stay part of the quest.

Protector23This needs to be implemented sooner than later.......if you want to compete with games like Valhiem and Enshrouded your going to have to have this feature and hopefully before the player base loses interest.

FihnWe have a regular group of 6. That might sound like a problem with only 4 player slots but it actually works out pretty well. We would just run two dedicated servers and hop back and forth. Without dedicated servers I haven't been able to get anyone else on-board. They won't even look at the game, as much as they love the setting. I'm hoping this gets done before early access ends.

Sefolas Mergedmaking servers Fully Open world to what the servers can handle so you have main worlds with 100s of people and as supporters of Defiance are awaiting more to explore and assigned regions so players can join open world servers to create their own story PVP with guilds and Forts , i know that almost sounds like a new game but think of it as a MOD for PVP not just Co-Op. Early access had servers , I just came back today to check the updates not 1 person has a server available, hope this sparks ideas
