KillaZilla MergedJust to clarify, this is not a slingshot, it is an ancient Greek and Roman ranged weapon that is still used to this day. It is thrown similarly to a cowboy's rope.
I think this would be a very cool ranged option that also doesn't cost a lot of materials to make. In essence, and early game ranged weapon.
How it would be implemented, I don't know. I don't have any ideas for implementation so I'll leave this to developer discretion.

KillaZilla MergedPersonally I feel as if adding this would be a bit of a low priority and maybe once the game is more fleshed out it could be tackled.
So definitely be a more late game item in regards to materials and crafting ability and such
For implementation, the only recommendation I would have is that it is more of a heavy hitter than the bow but certainly slower to reload and can maybe damage lighter structures?

If my other suggestions surrounding throwing Spears is considered, I'd recommend not allowing this beer to be thrown for obvious reasons haha

KillaZilla MergedIf implemented, I recommend having as a throwing pot kind of item or maybe a special torch or a weapon buff. I am open to idea though if a better one is given.

Please make some mirror-like clothes and add character shiny oiled skin.
I love oil skin and mirror-like clothing.
Mirror polished clothing does not need a pattern.
This is because third-person perspective games require you to see the character all day long. -

MichaelEnemy soldiers already have a range of weapons and animations. So seems simple enough to add those to the player.
Obviously, getting to granular on skills is a potential issue, so I suggest:
- Throwing Weapons skill for pots, javelins, throwing daggers, etc.
- Add Slings and specific skill, with a range of ammunition types.
- Rename Swords to Blades (to include daggers, or two handed swords)
This yields 3x melee skills (blades, spears, clubs) and 3x ranged skills (bows, slings, throwables). -

Yuhh MergedBasically like how in conan you have to travel far to get this specific resource and actuall yplan out a trip, it would be cool to see an armor set that would need like, the scales of a hydra, the horn of a cyclops and stuff like that. Where you have to travel and defeat higher level enemies to get drops to make better gear. Basically just tiered progression that forces you to kill this, go here and stuff like that, just slightly more in depth,

I got these words from wiki. they perfectly capture what I was trying to say.
We already have the trident why not make a second one more powerful for after a fight with Poseidon. I would personally wait for a Poseidon trident until after you released the hidden area as this could have a whole under water game play for exploring the sea. -

Examples that come to mind are:
Club of Heracles
Bow of Heracles
Spear, shield and armour of Achilles
Bow of Odysseus
Sickle sword of Perseus
Sword of Theseus
Spear of Athena
Bow of Artemis and or Apollo
Scythe of cronos
Sword of ares
Hammer of Hephaestus
Axe of Hephaestus
Bow of Chiron
There are definitely more but this list of options come easily to mind -
