Two hand weapons if no Shield is available

The title says it all. If no Shield is available it would be nice if the player character will two hand the weapon instead.
Oh and maybe the attack animations would also be two-handed but that might be a lot of work for the developers. Would be amazing to see though and would really add to the immersion

jadedDepending on how historically accurate they want this Greek inspired fantasy to be, there were no two handed weapons in Greece. It was mainly formation based, group strategy warfare. It would feel weird to have two handed swords or great swords in the game since it has a very authentically Greek vibe to it.
